9.30am: Meet and greet your guide at the Tourist Office of Bordeaux and start your gourmet city tour, visiting the most distinctive producers of local delicacies.
12.30pm: You will enjoy a French picnic in our lovely 18th century A la Francaise appartment in the heart of Bordeaux.
2.00 pm: After lunch it's time to depart Bordeaux for your wine tour of the Medoc. You'll be driven along the famous "Chateau Route" of the Medoc. Your expert local guide will provide you with all the information you need to know about the Bordeaux & Medoc wine regions as you go.
3.00pm: Arriving in the Medoc your first visit on the wine tour will be to a charming and authentic wine estate (Château Siran, Château Lamothe-Bergeron, Château Malescasse..). Feel the intimacy and authenticity of a private chateau run by a passionate family for generations. Your chateau tour will start in the vineyards, in front of the château, and your tour will continue to the traditional vat room and a visit to the chateau cellar.
4:15pm: No wine tour of the Medoc is complete without a sightseeing stop at Château Margaux. You'll stop for photos in front of the chateau while your knowledgeable guide will tell you all about the most famous winery in Bordeaux.
5.00pm: Next on the tour is a visit and tasting at a Great Classified Growth estate (Chateau Dauzac, Château Marquis de Terme, Château Desmirail...). You'll visit the vineyards, the vat room and the cellars of one of the most prestigious chateaux of Bordeaux. Enjoy learning about their wine making process, from the vine to the bottle. You'll finish the chateau tour with a tasting of the estate's wines while enjoying an aperitif of local French delicacies (cheese, fresh bread...).
7.00pm: You'll be driven back from the Medoc and arrive in Bordeaux.
