Enjoy a sightseeing of Reims city center. Drive by “Notre dame de Reims”, one of the first monument to be registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover some emblematic places of the city, as the “porte de mars”, 2000 year old arch, last Roman gate of the city. Absorb the historical atmosphere of the city, home of the coronation of more than 25 kings of France.
Make the most of your morning in the Champagne region by first of all exploring the Taittinger house, with a small introduction to Champagne by a film about the history of the house and the region, a complete tour of their cellars which are classified at UNESCO World’s Heritage. Finish in style this visit with a glass of their flagship Champagne.
Have a break at a viewpoint on the elegant Montagne de Reims vineyards where your guide points out the particularities of the region: Why are our vines planted on steep slopes? Why is our subsoil made out from such a pure chalk?

TRAIN INFORMATION IF YOU ARE DOING PARIS - REIMS FOR THE DAY:
If you come from Paris by train, book it as soon as possible to get availabilities and the best fares.
1. Weekdays (from Monday to Friday)
Take the 7.23am train (TGV Inoui 2707) from Paris Est which arrives at Reims Centre train station at 8.10am.
2. Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
Due to a lack of train which could arriving on time at the pick-up place, we recommend you to arrive the day before in Reims.
However, if you can’t arrive the day before, you can take the 7.58am train from Paris Est which arrives at Reims Champagne-Ardenne TGV at 8.37am and join the tour at Reims Centre train station with a taxi / Uber to be ordered before you arrive (15 minutes drive).
When you arrive at Reims Centre train station, take “Place de la Gare” exit (Reims centre), we will wait for you outside the station in front of the tourist office.
Be careful, there are two tourists’ offices in Reims. The meeting point is at the train station tourist office, not the cathedral tourist office.
For the return train back to Paris: please take one from 1.00pm
