For lunch (not included) you will enjoy free-time in the village of Fontaine de Vaucluse. This is a great opportunity to take a stroll and see the beautiful source of the Sorgue River: a unique natural place, full of mysteries...
After the break, your tour continues on to the Pont du Gard (entrance fees included) to visit the best preserved aqueduct of the Roman period, dating back to the 1st century and listed by UNESCO.
Your next stop will be a visit to Les Baux de Provence, a renowned Provencal village located upon a rock at 245 meters high. Enjoy some free time to visit the medieval village and don't miss its beautiful 16th century houses and the St Vincent Church!
On the way back to Avignon, your tour guide will drive you through Saint Rémy de Provence where you will enjoy a photo stop. Admire its unique historical sites: the Triumphal Arch and the mausoleum located in a typical olive-tree field...What a day! (From April 1st 2023, the photo stop at the historical sites will be replaced by a stop in the city center of Saint-Rémy de Provence).
