Your afternoon tour starts at 1.30pm when you will meet and greet your tour guide in Aix-en-Provence.
Set off in our minibus on your drive to the scenic landscapes of Sainte-Victoire Mountain which was a source of inspiration for the famous painter Cézanne.
The Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire vineyards are located east of the city of Aix-en-Provence, and like all the vineyards in Provence, are considered to be some of the most natural in France due to the drying effects of the Mistral wind. The shallow soils, formed by limestone and argillaceous sandstone, produce high-quality wines.
Spend the afternoon visiting two Provence vineyards for tours and wine tastings. Both of these estates have been selected by A la Francaise for their authenticity and charm. You might be lucky and meet the owner of the Domain!
Be sure to bring your camera and capture the views of the Sainte Victoire Mountain!
The wines you taste will be delicious, full-bodied reds with excellent structure (typical grape varieties used are Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cabernet-Sauvignon), and subtle, elegant rosés.
