Shore excursion: Luberon villages
Meet your local guide at the Marseille cruise terminal at 9am and jump aboard your A la Française minivan for a day trip in Provence!
First stop on your excursion is to the village of Lourmarin, one of the best villages in the Luberon and in Provence. Enjoy free time in this charming village and don't miss its famous Renaissance castle.
If you are lucky to be in Lourmarin on a Friday, you can experience a traditional open air market in the morning.
After Lourmarin your guide will take you on to the hilltop Luberon village of Bonnieux through the picturesque and winding Combe of Lourmarin. Enjoy some free time to discover Bonnieux, a typical French village overlooking the Luberon hillrange.
Next on your excursion is a stop to the colourful village of Roussillon and its ochre cliffs. There is a traditional open air market here every Thursday morning.
Your guide is an expert in Provence and will share his wealth of knowledge with you as you go. He will take you to the best photo spots in the Luberon and next up is a photo stop at the panoramic view facing the village of Gordes : enjoy the breathtaking view from there!
After a wonderful day spent visiting the most beautiful villages in the Luberon your guide will drive you back to Marseille where you will arrive at 4pm.
You will enjoy free time for lunch (not included) on your own during the day.
