Marseille shore excursion to Avignon and Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Your day trip starts at 9am in Marseille harbour where you will meet your A la Francaise guide.
Climb aboard your minivan and set off to discover the city of Avignon. Enjoy a scenic drive before arriving at the city known as the "City of the Popes". Enjoy a walk through the sites of this UNESCO classified city and discover its famous Popes' Palace (entrance ticket not included).

Your guide will show you the great view of Avignon's Saint-Benezet Bridge, a beautiful site that inspired the famous French song "Sur le pont d'Avignon". Admire the view and get ready to sing with your local guide!
Free-time for lunch (not included) on your own during the day.
After your tour of Avignon you'll drive on through the vineyards of the Rhone Valley to Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Enjoy a tour and wine tasting in a local winery and learn about Provence's famous wine.
Ending the day on a good note, it's time to leave Chateauneuf-du-Pape and head back to Marseille. You will arrive at 4pm.
