Your French Riviera Perfume and Villages Itinerary
9.00 am: Meet your guide for the day in the centre of Nice and climb aboard your air-conditioned minibus for a journey to discover the sites and scents of the French Riviera!
Grasse: Your first destination on your tour is to the home of perfume! Arriving in Grasse you will visit the Fragonard perfume factory. Enjoy a guided tour and learn more about the history of perfume, the extraction and distillery techniques, the maceration, the filtering process and the importance of the nose’s role in the blending of the scents. Stroll through the colourful old town of Grasse and soak up its poetic atmosphere.
Gourdon: Next up on your French Riviera itinerary is a visit to the breathtaking village of Gourdon, just 15 minutes from Grasse. Admire the stunning view across the entire French Riviera and take your time to stroll along its picturesque alleyways and savor a delicious lunch in the village (not included). Gourdon is listed as one of the "most beautiful villages in France"!
After your visit of Gourdon, your guide will drive you towards Saint-Paul-de-Vence. Admire the Loup River and its beautifully wild surrounding scenery from the comfort of your air-conditioned minibus as you go.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence: Arriving in this charming medieval village, you will be captivated by its artistic and creative spirit. Explore its picturesque, historic alleyways before sampling a local aperitif drink on a terrace. The perfect way to end the perfect tour!
4.00 pm: After a day exploring the beauty of the French Riviera it will be time for the drive back to Nice where you will arrive at 4 pm.
There is a risk of heavy traffic during the high season. Our local driver-guide will do his utmost to reduce the time spent in the minibus…whilst, of course, making it as agreeable as possible!
