Your Champagne experience starts with a warm welcome at a Champagne house in Mareuil-sur-Ay (Le Clos Corbier). This is a beautiful and typical Champagne house, surrounded by its Champagne vineyards. Enjoy a visit to their Champagne cellars which were dug in the 1850’s. As you go your guide will tell you all about the the traditional press and the secrets of the Champagne making process.
After your tour it's time to take a seat and enjoy your Champagne tasting class. Start with a Champagne quiz then train your nose to identify the different aromas and flavors that can be found in Champagne through an olfactory workshop. Get competitive as you blindly identify 3 different Champagnes from the family including one Grand Cru Vintage. You will enjoy some local sweet treats and finger food paired with your Champagne! (It can be adapted to allergies or specific diets)
