Enjoy a full day self-guided bike experience through the beautiful landscapes of Champagne region! A ride at your own pace, to discover the heart of Champagne, its vineyards, hills and valleys. Thanks to your A la Française itinerary designed (and tested!) by our passionate local team, learn everything about the specificities of the region and its “terroir”. Discover the making process and taste some of the most exclusive and rare Champagne from family winery. Enjoy a traditional lunch with homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of Champagnes.

Meet us at 9:30 am, at Le Clos Corbier our headquarter in Mareuil-sur-Ay, where your bike will be ready for you to ride and start you Champagne day. Our team will welcome you and brief you about the e-bike and itinerary. We will also provide you with our A la Française roadbook full of our local team’s tips and anecdotes: Must-see historical places to visit, nice typical villages and great picture spots… you will have all the information’s to enjoy a unique French experience!

Your e-bike will allow you to explore some of Champagne’s most remote locations. Deserve your Champagne glasses cycle through Grand Cru villages, fully experience the complexity of our terroir.  

Enjoy breathtaking views on the UNESCO world’s heritage vines of Champagne and acquire knowledge of the particularities of our “terroir”. You will then discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne. Trials will go along with your route, with some riddles and challenges contained inside your roadbook, to help you discover the village and its history. 

Taste 3 different Champagnes from a family boutique grower in Hautvillers, where you will see and be taught about the different pressing facilities, vats and cellars.

Continue your exploration of Hautvillers by visiting the church where the famous monk Dom Pérignon is buried. Experience a cycle down the Marne canal to make your way back to the Clos Corbier. Immerse yourself into the french lifestyle with a traditional lunch which consists in homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of Champagnes.

  • • Under 24 hours in advance: no reimbursement.
  • • If the client wishes to change the date of his tour after the 24 hours authorized for refundable cancellation, 20% of the price of the tour will be due to A la Française as additional fees.
  • • A minimum of 2 participants is required for a tour. If only 1 person is booked on a tour, A la Francaise Champagne will contact the customer (phone or email) to reschedule or refund the total amount.

  • *Except for Veuve Clicquot Full Day tour that require a 48 hours delay of cancellation.
