SHARED TOURS

The following terms and conditions are valid for the shared tours provided by A la Française SAS and its subsidiaries Provence Reservation SAS, Tylène SAS, Bordovino SARL and Vine Escape SARL; hereby A la Française


RATES

All rates are given net and in euros €. They include service and taxes and are subject to change without notice.

Entrance fees to monuments, lunch and wine-tastings are included when mentioned.


BOOKING CONDITIONS

The tour will be confirmed at the payment of 100% of the amount due, unless agreed otherwise by contract.
Children aged under 3 are not accepted in our tours (except for private tours). A 20% discount will be granted for children from 4 to 11 years old. However our bike tours are not accessible under 11 years old. The adult fare will be applied from 11 years old.

CANCELLATION POLICY
For cancellation of a shared excursion more than 24 hours before the day of the tour, a full refund will be granted. Cancellation notice must be sent by written.

The cancellation of a service due to bad weather, is the sole decision of the customer. No refund can be claimed.

If A la Française is responsible for any cancelation (dangerous weather conditions, mechanical problems with the transport, unexpected health problems for the driver or guide) the client is entitled to a full reimbursement.

Special COVID policy: no special policy


TOUR CONDITIONS

The tours are operated with 8-seater air-conditioned vehicles. Smoking and eating inside the vehicles are not permitted.

Tours are operated for a minimum of 2 passengers

A la Française keeps the right to amend the itinerary and content of the tour without prior notice if special event occurs or for any safety reason. Some attractions or monuments can be exceptionally closed due to special events or festivity, resulting that the content of the itinerary will be amended : no refund can be claimed.

A la Française reserves the right to cancel, without notice, a service if the weather conditions present a danger to people or a risk of equipment and vehicule breakage. These cancellations give right to reimbursement of the service or the portion of the service not provided.

A la Française cannot be held responsible for delays due to the traffic, for accidents when getting on or off the vehicle, for loss or robbery of personal belongings during the tour.

DISPUTES

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of the quote and these conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the commercial courts of the district of the subsidiary of A la Française performing the contract.


BESPOKE AND PRIVATE SERVICE

The following terms and conditions are valid for the bespoke services provided by the subsidiaries of A la Française SAS: Provence Reservation SAS, Tylène SAS, Bordovino SARL, Vine Escape SARL.

RATES

All rates are given net and in euros €. They include service and taxes and are subject to change without notice.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

To confirm this proposal, a 30% deposit has to be paid upon booking. We do accept payment by credit card if the amount is under 1000,00€ ; otherwise, the payment has to be done by bank wire.

Wether executed by bank transfer or credit card, all payments must include any additional bank charges or fees which are the responsibility of the customer.

The balance has to be paid at least 15 days before arrival.

If the confirmation is made less than 30 days before arrival, we will kindly ask you to pay the total amount of the stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR A STAY

Please find here below our fees in case of cancellation:

  • More than 90 days before the arrival : 10% of the total amount of the stay
    • From 90 to 7 days before the arrival : 50% of the total amount of the stay
    • Less than 7 days before the arrival : 100% of the total amount of the stay

Cancellation notice must be sent by written.

In case of the number of participants changes after confirmation of the file, the rate will be recalculated according to the real number of persons.

The cancellation of a service due to bad weather, or the activation of a plan B if this has been expressly provided, is the sole decision of the customer.

• For cancellation more than 7 days before tour departure's day : no fees
• For cancellation les than 7 days before tour departure's day : no refund


EVENTS AND CORPORATE RETREATS

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION

These Terms and Conditions (T&C) are valid for the SAS (simplified joint-stock company) A la Française and its subsidiaries, Provence Reservation SAS, Tylène SAS, Bordovino SARL (limited liability company) and Vine Escape SARL. The reservation of our services involves knowledge and acceptance of our T&C, applying them to the customer's events and seminars. Our services may include subcontracted services (catering, accommodation, etc.). In this case, the GCS of the subcontracting providers apply, and will be brought to the attention of the customer for acceptance.

 

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

Reservations will only be confirmed and guaranteed after signature of the order form and after receipt by A la Française and its subsidiaries of the deposit specified below:

-40% of the total amount of the file upon signature of the order form

-40% 30 days before the event at the latest

-the balance upon receipt of the final invoice, taking into account the changes.

All payments shall be made by bank transfer. Visa and MasterCard credit card payments entail an additional fee of 1% of the amount paid.

Our prices are in euros and exclude taxes. VAT applies according to the rate in effect.

 

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATIONS

Cancellation or modifications must be communicated by e-mail to A la Française.

In the event of total or partial cancellation of the services (number of people, activities, etc.) stipulated in the quote, A la Française reserves the right to invoice, as fixed termination compensation, the following amounts:

-up to 60 days before the event: 25% excl. tax of the price excl. tax stipulated on the order form

-from 59 days to 30 days before the event: 50% excl. tax of the price excl. tax stated on the order form

-from 29 days to 14 days before the event: 75% excl. tax of the price excl. tax stipulated on the order form

-13 days or less before the event: 100% excl. tax of the price excl. tax stated on the order form

Any change of the dates of the trip dues to COVID-19 restrictions will be made free of charge

The final number of participants must be communicated by e-mail 10 days in advance. A la Française will issue its balance invoice based on the number of participants announced in writing at least 10 days before the event.

Any special case (allergies, people with reduced mobility) requiring an adjustment of the programmes must be reported at least 10 days in advance.

A la Française undertakes to inform the customer of these modifications in writing. These modifications do not give any right to reimbursement or compensation.

RULES OF GOOD CONDUCT

The customer undertakes to adopt, in all circumstances, behaviour which is compatible with the rules of politeness, respect and decency, thus allowing the smooth running of the event and the work of the organisation team.

In case of non-compliance with these rules, A la Française reserves the right to immediately end the services provided and to prohibit troublemakers from participating in activities and access to the premises. A la Française escapes all liability in the event of driving under the influence of alcohol. Potential drivers must not consume alcohol.

A la Française reserves the right to request repairs in the event of damage caused by one of its customers.

 

LIABILITY

A la Française cannot be held liable in the event of loss, forgetfulness, theft or damage to personal effects during the services it organises on behalf of its customers, whether in the premises rented or used for the occasion, means of transport, accommodation, places to eat, etc.

 

DISPUTES

Special COVID policy: Less than 7 days before the arrival : 50% of the total amount of the stay, less the 24h: no refund

Any change of date due to COVID-19 will be made free of charge

TOURS CONDITIONS

A la Française reserves the right to modify the programme for equivalent services, depending on the availability and cancellations of its own service providers. A la Française undertakes to inform the customer of these modifications in writing. These modifications do not give any right to reimbursement or compensation.

EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER

A la Française provides an emergency telephone number to all guests. It is to be used by the guests on site whenever an unforeseen event occurs (delay, reduction or rise in numbers, etc.), and implies that the service(s) will be altered. Failure to do so could result in extra charges.

Please note that we never give our driver/guide's phone number as a proof of privacy. They are not allowed to take any decisions concerning your stay so please in case of question or changes, dial our emergency phone number.

LIABILITY
